Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I 270 & Rte 161. This can be seen more often in the morning & the evening. Around 7:30pm, last night the female turkey & 5 of her young walked up the ramp to the West Blind. They then jumped onto the railing, then onto the roof of the blind. They then flew into the pine trees & settled down for the night. This has been happening almost every evening. The Turkeys can also be seen in the field by the Ranger Station in the morning. As many as 15 turkeys have been seen there at one time.
