If you are interested in coming to beautiful southeastern Ohio I would suggest checking out the Hockhocking Adena bikeway that runs adjacent to the Hocking River. Very flat and asphalt covered. Nice diversity of habitats: forest, fallow fields, cropland, etc. You can find more info on it and other birding areas along the Hocking Valley Birding Trail at http://birdhocking.com/adena_bikeway.htm Lynda Andrews Wildlife Biologist Wayne National Forest 740/753-0550 voice 740/753-0118 fax "When a man destroys a piece of art we call him a vandal; when he destroys a work of nature we call him a developer." I know about the boardwalk at Magee Marsh, but most places near here have gravel or mud trails, which is too much for my wheelchair. In particular, Sandy Ridge, our best closest bet, is too difficult. Someone mentioned that Columbia Reservation Metropark has some asphalt trails but I don't know if the birding is any good. Thanks for any suggestions. David Riggs ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
