Good advice from John Pogacnik. We should be able to learn more by watching the Illinois and Indiana bird lists on Saturday and Sunday. In Arkansas not long ago, weaker Gustav passed through and delivered cave swallows, black skimmer, sooty terns, frigatebirds, Cory's shearwater, royal tern and who knows what else. They had Sabine's gulls and jaegers as well, but these likely came from the other direction. Sunday is likely to be a bit damp and windy, but any decent-sized body of water could attract rare birds. Try to get photos of what you see, and Good luck to all, Bill Whan Columbus ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
