Hello! This evening after returning from work in Toledo, I turned off of U.S. Route 23 just a few blocks north of the Meijers at Powell Road/Rte. 23 and was greeted by a swirl of at least 17 Nighthawks not more than 20 or 30 feet off of the ground at the intersection of Owenfield and River Bend Drives adjacent to the Delaware Bank. They whirled amongst themselves in a frenzy, and as I watched the swirl of activity, a few other Nighthawks would fly in from afar and join the activity. I watched them for about 5 minutes before I left for home. Owenfield is the service road that runs parallel to Rte. 23 on the west.
