Birding around the nature center started around 7:45 am with good numbers of warblers. Saw the golden winged warbler around 10:30 am on back loop of dog trail (goldenrod trial) and the connecticut warbler on the connector between the front and back loops on the dog trial again around 10:30 am. Window at nature center has some active moments through out the day. >Golden winged warbler, adult male plummage >Connecticut warbler > cape may > magnolia > american redstart > black throated blue > bay breasted > chestnut sided > black and white > tennessee > black throated green > ovenbird (Enjoyed watching one ovenbird walk around follow another one around expecting to partake of the tasty morsels but did not see any sharing going on) > wilson's > blackpoll > common yellow throat > blackburnian > Hooded >palm >nashville > > white eyed vireo > blue headed vireo > ruby crowned kinglet > indigo bunting > rose breasted grosbeak > swainson's thrush > gray cheeked thrush > yellow bellied sapsucker > brown thrasher > eastern phoebe > turkey > red breasted nuthatch >Winter Wren Golden crowned kinglet solitary sandpiper > Bob and Elaine McNulty > > > > > ______________________________________________________________________ > > Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society. > Our thanks to Miami University for hosting this mailing list. > Additional discussions can be found in our forums, at > www.ohiobirds.org/forum/. > > You can join or leave the list, or change your options, at: > http://listserv.muohio.edu/scripts/wa.exe?LIST=3DOHIO-BIRDS > Send questions or comments about the list to: [log in to unmask] > > ------------------------------ > > End of OHIO-BIRDS Digest - 23 Sep 2008 to 24 Sep 2008 (#2008-268) > ***************************************************************** > ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
