Birding around the nature center started around 7:45 am with good numbers of warblers. Saw the golden winged warbler around 10:30 am on back loop of dog trail (goldenrod trial) and the connecticut warbler on the connector between the front and back loops on the dog trial again around 10:30 am. Window at nature center has some active moments through out the day. >Golden winged warbler, adult male plummage >Connecticut warbler > cape may > magnolia > american redstart > black throated blue > bay breasted > chestnut sided > black and white > tennessee > black throated green > ovenbird (Enjoyed watching one ovenbird walk around follow another one around expecting to partake of the tasty morsels but did not see any sharing going on) > wilson's > blackpoll > common yellow throat > blackburnian > Hooded >palm >nashville > > white eyed vireo > blue headed vireo > ruby crowned kinglet > indigo bunting > rose breasted grosbeak > swainson's thrush > gray cheeked thrush > yellow bellied sapsucker > brown thrasher > eastern phoebe > turkey > red breasted nuthatch >Winter Wren Golden crowned kinglet solitary sandpiper > Bob and Elaine McNulty ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
