I want to encourage everyone to look at the survey at the link provided in
Dan Kramer's post as Bill Whan suggests in another post. Bill is concerned
that too little information is provided in the post and in the survey. You
can see all questions without submitting answers. I encourage you to
complete the survey: It's pretty straight forward. I don't speak for DOW but
I have the advantage of having participated in brainstorming with DOW and
others about this issue.

I attended the inaugural Wildlife Diversity Partner's Meeting held at
Shawnee State Park early last month. The survey is delivered as promised at
that time and results in part from a brain-storming session we participated
in. About fifty people attended, based on my count.

Our Division of Wildlife is forward-thinking. I agree with Ken Kaufmann's
posted opinion that they do a terrific job, generally. They are considering
alternatives for future funding as traditional funding based on hunting and
fishing revenues' steadily declines.

I'm wordy so I posted more detail on the Forum under Conservation, "The Ohio
Conservation Stamp".
