Well the poor weather certainly increased feeder activity. Saw House Finches for the first time in awhile, hadn't seen a Robin in awhile but it used the bird bath for a drink. A Carolina Wren showed up along with a couple of firsts - Waxwing (Cedar I assume) and Northern Mockingbird, not at the feeders but still yard firsts. The energy for the Green Revolution was provided by fossil fuels in the form of fertilizers (natural gas), pesticides (oil), and hydrocarbon fueled irrigation.
