Following up on Jen Brumfield's auditory alert of the Red Crossbill, I was
in my yard messing with my spotting scope and new camera at 10:30am when I
heard a flight of Tundra Swans coming from way off. I spotted them very
high and was able to swing my spotting scope up to watch about 20+ ivory
colored swans moving NW to SE.

I quickly ran to the car (where I keep my birding stuff) and confirmed the
calls on my Stokes CD. Then went into the house to log them as a "Yard
Bird" for November and saw the I had them logged on March 1 flying over from
SE to NW. Amazing! Makes you wonder if it was the same group. What's the
chance????

Keep your ears open! Back to yard work!!!
