I haven't seen any news from Mosquito Lake/WA for a while, so I went up to take a look today.  There were plenty of birds:  300+ Canada geese, 30 tundra swans, mallards, Am. black ducks, 100 gadwall, 90 Am. wigeon, 15 n. pintails, 15 n. shovelers, 10 green-winged teal, 40 ring-necked ducks, 3 buffleheads, 210 hooded mergansers, 25 ruddy ducks, 9 pied-billed grebes, 1 double-crested cormorant, 55 Am. coots, 35 Bonaparte's gulls, 100+ ring-billed gulls, great blue heron, belted kingfisher, pileated woodpecker, 5 e. bluebirds, swamp sparrow, 800 red-winged blackbirds, 200 c. grackles, and Am. goldfinches.  Raptors were hiding from me again today.  Later, Craig
