Hi all, A run through my area for the Christmas count this morning produced 51 species. Lauren Smith, Max Seigal, and I were out for a little 1.5hrs, and it was extremely birdy. There were lots of areas/thickets filled with birds. Our goals were Northern Shrike and Long-eared Owl, both of which we found and seen well by all three of us.
