Detroit Bridge between Lakewood & Rocky River
Observers: Paula Lozano & Jan Ranahan

Bald eagle - 2, adults

As we were waiting for the light on the Lakewood side of the bridge, we
spotted a large bird approaching from the north. It was clearly a bald eagle.
First, we thought that it had been sitting on the apartment building. However,
within a few seconds, another appeared, following the same flight path. Both
continued southward, bouncing into the wind across the valley, over Heinen's
parking lot and, finally, above Wooster Road in Rocky River.
