Greetings! I just received a call from my birding friend Robin Densmore a few minutes ago. Robin, her husband (Danny Ingold) and her son (Donny Ingold) all had great views of their lifer White-winged Crossbills behind the New Concord post office. The birds were feeding in the stand of hemlock tress right next to the parking lot. If you live in the Guernsey/Muskingum area, and are in need of crossbills for your list, this might be a good opportunity. The New Concord post office sits just below Muskingum College, right off of main street (Old U.S. 22/40 - National Road), in downtown New Concord. New Concord sits right off of Interstate 70, about halfway between Cambridge and Zanseville. Updates on the final January 100 list and tallies coming tomorrow. Good birding, Jason Jason S.
