I stayed a bit later than Gabe and was able to add a few species and numbers
to his list for East 72nd Street.

Long-tailed duck- 2
Little Gull- 1 adult
Lesser Black-backed Gull- 5
Thayer's Gull- 1 adult 1st cycle
Kumlien's Iceland Gull- 1 adult, 2 1st cycle
Glaucous Gull- 5 (1 adult, 2 1st cycle, 2 2nd cycle)
Great black-backed x herring hybrid- 1 adult
Glaucous x herring hybrid- 1 1st cycle
Common redpoll- 3

Also one group of birders reported the snowy owl from the east end of Burke
airport.
