I am passing this along to you from Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge: Julie Shieldcastle Black Swamp Bird Observatory Oak Harbor, OH ******************************************** If you're looking for something to do this Saturday, come drive the auto tour route at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. The drive is approximately 7 miles long, and travels through parts of the refuge that are normally closed to the public. The entrance gate opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m., and all vehicles must be off the refuge at 5:30 p.m. Recent sightings include rough-legged hawks and snow buntings, as well as the typical winter residents. You can pick up an auto tour guide at the entrance gate. For more information, call the refuge at (419) 898-0014 or visit the website, http://www.fws.gov/midwest/ottawa. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Laura A.
