I followed Karen Gray's directions this afternoon and found the same flock of Horned Larks in SW Medina Co. Initially only had 5, then the flock of 20+ came. They're a new bird for me - thanks. Also saw a merlin sitting on a telephone wire 1/2 mile north of the Horned Larks. Found the White-winged Crossbills by finding the birders right outside the visitor center.
