Seems they have now made it all the way to the Ohio River!  While visiting my Dad, I saw something strange on the ground at his feeder, and sure enough, a single WW Crossbill female was among all the sparrows.
 
After looking for others, I made my way up the street to Grandma's house were I immediately heard something different.  Appx. 15 WW Crossbills were feeding in the large spruces next the driveway.  At least I got a good look at a male in the top of the spruce before I lost them for the evening.
 
Glad they made it all the way down here so I didn't need to take a road trip.
