I was over in Englewood Metropark Saturday (around noon) and spotted a 
lone Sandhill Crane amongst the Canada geese.  He would fly around and 
call for a bit, then land on the ice again.  It was a little sad since it 
seemed that he was looking for his friends but couldn't find them.  Other 
birds present were Mallard, northern Pintail and several Great Blue Heron.
