I was over in Englewood Metropark Saturday (around noon) and spotted a lone Sandhill Crane amongst the Canada geese. He would fly around and call for a bit, then land on the ice again. It was a little sad since it seemed that he was looking for his friends but couldn't find them. Other birds present were Mallard, northern Pintail and several Great Blue Heron. Good birding! ~Scott ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
