I was watching the feeders in my backyard north of Westerville this morning and was rewarded with a female Red-winged Blackbird. It came to the feeders with a group of cowbirds and there was also a single Common Grackle.

It will probably be a good day for feeder birds as the snow cover will make foraging a little more difficult. I have already had a Song Sparrow and a White-throated Sparrow which are not frequent visitors to my feeders.
