Just started up a birding station in my backyard over the holiday. The number of birds feeding is growing by the day. Today, I have 2-Rufous Sided Tohee's, here everyday now for a week. They seem to have adopted my feeders as their main food source. Over the years I have never had Tohees at a feeder. not sure if this is commonplace or not. Also Blue Jays (5- 10), Cardinals, White Throated Sparrow (2-3), Tree Sparrow (4), House Finches (10-20), American Goldfinches (15 - 20),House Sparrows, DE Juncos (many) (4-6), Downy Woodpecker, Red Bellied Woodpecker, Starling (too many at times), Common Grackle, Song sparrow, Tufted Titmouse (4-6), Black Capped chickadee (4), White Breasted nuthatch and Mourning Doves (4-8) Also had a Coopers Hawk watching over birds the other day. Otherwise nothing too special. Bob Folt Hudson, Ohio ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
