While at Spring Valley Wildlife Area today, we saw a mature bald eagle!!!! Unfortunately, we saw it for only a few seconds. We also noticed the beginnings of a raptor nest on the osprey tower in the marsh by the observation tower. If anyone has seen any activity on the tower, I'd like to hear about it. The "nest" was only four or five big sticks in a circle settled between the nails on the platform, so it may have been placed there when the tower was built and I just hadn't noticed it before. Again, any info would be great. Also at SVWA: Feeders: -Am. Tree Sp. -House Sp. -White Thr. Sp. -White Crown Sp. -Am. Goldfinch -Tufted Titmouse -Chickadee -Hairy WP -Downy WP -N.
