How wonderful to be awakened to the sounds of cardinals, black-capped chickadees, titmice and a Carolina wren singing! Happily, the red-breasted nuthatch is still frequenting my feeder. I saw the wren on the suet for the first time today. Although red-winged blackbirds are in the area, they still haven't visited the feeder.
