There was a decent movement of birds today along the lake. Red-breasted mergansers dominated the waterfowl and ring-bill gulls were the most numerous gull. Birds of note included two surf scoters and an Iceland gull. New for the spring were double-crested cormorants and Bonaparte's gulls. Songbirds at the feeders included 20+ siskins, a single redpoll, a few fox sparrows, and two towhees.
