Hi all: Amongst the 1000s of waterfowl at Funk Bottoms WA late this
afternoon, were 3 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE. I saw them from the wildlife
viewing tower off Rt. 95. They were left of the green oil wells, and were
still there when I left at 4:40PM. Most numerous waterfowl at Funk were
Canada Geese, Mallards, and Northern Pintails. Other waterfowl present
were Tundra Swan, American Black Duck, Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, American
Wigeon, Northern Shoveler, Ring-necked Duck, Canvasback, and Redhead. Also
had a nice male Harrier, a dark morph Rough-legged Hawk, 3 immature Bald
Eagles, and 2 Sandhill Cranes. Su Snyder, Wooster
