The Eurasian Wigeon remains as reported yesterday on the north side of Clark Road as it crosses Killbuck Marsh. It is among a sizable group of American Wigeons. This bird is close and easily seen with binoculars. Along with an excellent assortment of ducks, 1000s of Canada Geese, a dozen or so Tundra Swans, maybe 4 Bald Eagles, special sightings at Funk were: One blue phase Snow Goose Two Cackling Geese Two Sandhill Cranes The Funk Bottoms area is extraordinarily dry and thus the birds are far away where the water begins. Scopes are therefore required. The above-mentioned specialties were seen from the causeway rather than the tower, and luck with lighting also made a big difference. No Greater White-fronted Geese were seen. Suzanne Wagner, Mentor **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
