Hi Everyone. Yesterday in Lorain Co. Airport area there was an Eastern Meadowlark in the grassy area between Russia Road and the CAF hangar. Also some horned larks a bit west of the airport driveway, on Russia Road. Lots of loud crows, a kestrel, Turkey Vulture (er, Creagle...) more raptors too far to i.d. Then we stopped by the Oberlin Reservoir, and in addition to the ring-bill gulls there was a mute swan. A guy from the neighborhood walking his dog said that a flock of tundra swans has been known to visit about this time of year. Has anyone seen these? By the way, Dennis' photos of the flying swan are lovely. Thanks.
