Hello all I spent this morning at various locations around Hoover Reservoir - Oxbow, Areas M & N, Hoover Meadows. As reported previously, the boardwalk is histoplasmosis city from all of the gull activity. It really needs a cleanup or a hard rain storm. Among the better birds viewed were a Cooper's Hawk, a Northern Mockingbird, and an Eastern Meadowlark at the meadows. Ring-billed Gulls Canada Geese Mallards Wood Ducks Common Mergansers Turkey Vultures numerous over the meadows Northern Cardinals numerous everywhere Blue Jays Tufted Titmice Golden-crowned Kinglets Red-winged Blackbirds Song Sparrows Cooper's Hawk Northern Mockingbird Eastern Meadowlark American Robins European Starlings I could not locate any Phoebes, previously reported. -- Kevin Hall http://4mallko.smugmug.com ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
