Bob Royse reported that seven were at Deer Creek WA on the 15th and were still present on the 17th. Rick Counts reported that 34 were at the Hardin County Wetlands on the 18th. Ross's Goose: Rick Asamoto reported that seven were at Cowan Lake SP on the 13th. Eurasian Wigeon: Philip Marcischak reported that one was at Mosquito Lake on the 15th. Kenn Kaufman reported that one was at Metzger Marsh WA on the 17th. White-winged Scoter: Rick Asamoto reported that two were still present at Cowan Lake SP on the 13th. The two scoters were seen by many observers on the 14th. Nancy Anderson reported that two were at Sims Park on the 14th. Black Scoter: Gabe Leidy reported that a pair was at Edgewater SP in Cuyahoga County on the 14th. John Pogacnik saw one during his Lakeshore Waterbird Survey on the 14th. Long-tailed Duck: Rick Asamoto reported that three were still present at Cowan Lake SP on the 13th. The ducks were still present on the 15th and seen by many observers near the South Shore Marina. Bob Powell reported that one was still present on the 17th. Dave Kersten reported that a pair was still present at Lake Medina on the 14th. Rob Lowry observed three males from the marina area at Pleasant Hill Reservoir on the 14th. Su Snyder observed two there on the 16th. John Pogacnik observed two males during his Lakeshore Waterbird Survey on the 14th and one on the 15th. Ryan Tomazin reported that one was at Seneca Lake on the 15th. Bill Jones reported one that one was present at Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary. Red-necked Grebe: Greg Bennett observed one at Summit Lake on the 13th and at Berlin Reservoir near Rte 224 on the 14th. The Summit Lake bird was still present on the 16th. Chris Pierce reported that one was at Wellington Reservoir on the 15th. Ryan Tomazin reported that one was at Seneca Lake on the 15th. Golden Eagle: Clyde Witt reported that a juvenile and one adult were at Killdeer Plains WA on the 15th. Gerry Klug observed one fly over his east Toledo home on the 19th. Merlin: Greg Knoll reported that one was seen at Maumee Bay SP on the 14th. Lou Gardella reported that three were at Calvary Cemetery on the 17th. Virginia Rail: Michael Gerringer reported that one was at Spring Valley WA on the 13th. Greater Yellowlegs: Ed Roush observed one at the east end of Cowan Lake SP on the 13th. The bird was subsequently seen by many birders at least through the 14th. Greg Knoll reported that two were seen at Maumee Bay SP on the 14th. Bob Royse reported that one was at the Deer Creek wetlands on the 17th. One was at Ottawa NWR. Lesser Yellowlegs: Early were two observed by Jim Dolan at East Palestine City Lake on the 14th. Long-eared Owl: Laura Keene reported that one was at Caley Reservation on the 15th. Yellow-bellied Sapsucker: Michael Gerringer reported that one was at Spring Valley WA on the 13th. Two were at Wintergarden Park in Bowling Green on the 17th. Northern Shrike: One continued along the causeway at Magee Marsh through at least the 18th. Bob Jackson observed one at Jaite Marsh in the CVNP on the 14th. Bill Jones reported one that one was present at Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary. Chris Knoll reported that two were at Magee Marsh on the 19th. COMMON RAVEN: Eric Hall reported had some in Jefferson County near New Alexandria on the 1st. Eric had a second sighting near Newell on the 9th. Hermit Thrush: Bob Royse observed a few at Lake Hope SP near the horseman camp area on the 13th. One was at Spring Valley WA along the bike path on the 17th. One was at Magee Marsh on the 18th. William Hull observed one at the Cincinnati Nature Center on the 18th. One was observed at Twin Creek MP on the 19th. Brown Thrasher: Bill Stanley had one in Clermont County on the 15th. Dave Russell, Avian Research and Educational Institute, banded one at Hueston Woods SP on the 17th. Steve Pelikan reported that one was at Mt. Airy Forest, Hamilton County Park, on the 17th. Palm Warbler: Bruce Simpson reported that an early one was along the Lake Trail at Blendon Woods MP. Louisiana Waterthrush: Rob Thorn came across an early one in Gahanna on the 14th. Chipping Sparrow: Frank Renfrow observed one at Spring Grove Cemetery on the 13th. Savannah Sparrow: Kirk Westendorf reported that six were at Armleder on the 15th.
