There was an adult male Surf Scoter at Rocky Fork State Park, viewed from the Fisherman's Wharf area. Other waterfowl seen: Mute Swan Canada Goose Green-winged Teal Mallard Northern Shoveler Gadwall American Wigeon Canvasback Redhead Ring-necked Duck Greater Scaup Lesser Scaup Bufflehead Hooded Merganser Common Merganser Red-breasted Merganser Ruddy Duck Pied-billed Grebe American Coot An adult Bald Eagle was perched in a tree.
