Stopped by the heron rookery on West Bath for a look Sunday morning.  To drive by there only appeared to be a couple birds in the nests, and they didn't stay up there long.  Walking along the fence I noticed a couple on the frozen marsh, then dozens off to the left (East) in the stubble and another 6 or 8 along the edge of the ice on the Western edge of the marsh towards the Cuyahoga River.  As someone reported last week probably 40 birds total.
