We had 2 Pine Siskins here yesterday; first I have seen in several weeks.

A resident Pileated woodpecker pair have been excavating a hole high up in a large dead tree behind our home in the Cricket Holler Scout Camp. From the initial excavation to a large enough hole for the bird to disappear inside has taken about 2 1/2 weeks. Yesterday both of them were there at the same time chasing each other around the tree and doing some paired flying.
