Unfortunately, I didn't have many more details myself. Scott Hites, who lives right in the area is the one who saw it and his report to me just stated "Krause/Stange". Originally, the bird was seen south of this location so it is clearly moving around some. Virtually any wet spot in the area could host it. Or, it could high-tail it out of here on the southerly winds. "Still plenty of good birds and birding up here though. Yesterday, the Ruff that Phil C. originally found was re-located at Krause/Stange on the western side of ONWR, for example. Should be an EXCELLENT 3 days (Friday, Sat, Sun) here in the NW, especially along the lakeshore." As one can see, this post from earlier today indicated that the Ruff was seen yesterday. From what I can recall, this is the first mention of it either here on the Ohio listserv or on RareBird.org since it was reportedly observed but could not be relocated this past Monday. I was wondering whether anyone had any information on when and where it was last seen. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
