A quick run through the Chatterton Greenbelt (southeast Columbus, not far from Pickerington Ponds) found plenty of temperate migrants this morning, including Blue-winged Teal, Sharp-shinned Hawk, 2 sapsuckers, 2 singing Brown Thrashers, 7 singing E.Towhees, even more Field Sparrows, and a few Chipping Sparrows & Juncos. A bit too early and cold for kinglets and temperate warblers, but they can't be far off. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
