The weather isn't holding some of the early migrants back anymore. Even though I was restricted to a few fairly urban parks in Gahanna (NE Columbus suburb), I still found my first Yellow-throated Warbler and Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers of the season today. Also present were Golden-cr.Kinglets, Towhees, Chipping Sparrows, White-thr.Sparrows, and Juncos. Almost all the resident woodpeckers and parids are drumming/singing or fighting, so Spring seems to have snuck in despite the recent cold.
