Jay Lehman and I were there yesterday at 5:00 PM and did not any
yellow-crowns either. Our thought was that they might be out feeding.
Time will tell and I hope they are still here and will make another go
at it this year.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Bexley, Ohio Yellow-Crowned Night Herons

We observed one nest (no birds sighted) in the sycamore trees at the
southern end of Preston Road. In previous years, we've seen two occupied
nests and a third nest 'under construction' in the trees.

Does anyone know the status of this little colony?
