Yesterday (4/2) I found a northern-saw-whet owl at a property in Leroy
Township, Lake County. It is the fourth different saw-whet I have found in
the last two weeks. The others were found in Concord (2) and Madison
Townships in Lake County. All have been found in conifer stands on
floodplains. A couple are in areas where breeding is possible.

Yesterday, I also had a flock of 12 white-winged crossbills feeding along a
roadway near Hell Hollow Park.
