With a little over an hour this afternoon, I opted for the riparian funnels of this park, focusing on two less-visited areas: Elk Run and the Borrow Pit area. Quite a few migrants, though nothing like the bigger fallouts found west and north of us. Notables included: Blue-gray Gnatcatchers - 25+, still the most common migrant Ruby-cr. Kinglet - 8 Wrens - single Winter & House Hermit Thrush - 1 Catbird - 1 Yellow warbler - 1 Bl.Throated Green - 1 Yellow-rumped - 2 Yellow-throated warbler - 2 Prairie Warbler - 1 White-thr.Sparrows - 15 Baltimore Oriole - 1 ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
