Here in Claridon Twp. I had a good selection of birds at my feeder today: Beside my usuals there were 2 pair of purple finches, the first chipping sparrow I've seen at my feeder, 3 juncos- 2 male, 1 female (they haven't been regulars lately), a red-breasted nuthatch that visited the feeder and called from the blue spruce in the front yard, and coolest of all, a fox sparrow scratching the ground under the feeder (the first I've seen this year). That's all for now... ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
