I visited several areas in E Mahoning Co. today--Poland Twp., Beaver Twp., Pine L., and Evans L.  The day's tally included: wood duck, 6 blue-winged teal, 8 n. shovelers, 10 green-winged teal, canvasback, 9 ring-necked ducks, 32 lesser scaup, 22 buffleheads, 32 red-breasted mergansers, 106 ruddy ducks, 2 c. loons, 8 pied-billed grebes, 15 double-crested cormorants, 145 Am. coots, 7 pectoral sandpipers, 11 Wilson's snipe, 2 belted kingfishers, 50+ tree swallows, 25 barn swallows, swamp sparrow, dark-eyed juncos, and e. meadowlark.  Later, Craig
