Hi folks, The mudflats at Casear Creek where the osprey nested have disappeared with the rains of the last few days. Other than the osprey, the only ther interesting birds were a pair of bald eagles at this site. Spring valley was the yellow-rump show today with hundreds of them around. First the year birds for me were three singing prothonotary warblers, one northern parula (heard only), four great egrets and one House Wren. A few rusty blackbirds are still around and people had nice looks at a snipe by the boardwalk.
