In a quick 30 minute pre-dusk visit to the local Copley community park I
enjoyed a few decent birds -- bluebirds, yellow warblers, a solitary
sandpiper, 3 green heron, 1 great blue heron, and about a zillion blackbirds
of every type (including rusties). The swampy area here is apparently a
roost, as THOUSANDS of birds flew noisily in from every direction as the sun
set and the full moon rose. Quite a spectacle. This park closes at dusk, so
just as things are getting interesting they are shooing you out.
