I'm curious to know if anyone has come across any Upland Sandpipers lately. If so, please reply to me off-list. I'd like to compile a list of possible locations so that we can do some follow-up surveys in the event that any birds stick around to nest. Early this morning while owling in Madison County, I had a single bird give its nocturnal flight call while flying north. Very cool, indeed. -- Aaron Boone Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II School of Environment & Natural Resources The Ohio State University 210 Kottman Hall 2021 Coffey Road Columbus, OH 43210-1085 614.247.6458 (office) www.ohiobirds.org/obba2/ ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
