I have seen a Blue-Winged Warbler in the same area of the pet trail for the past 2 weeks (although not today) and I observed a pair of Northern Parula at the Overlook deck this past Thursday. In general this Spring, the numbers of Yellow Warblers, Yellow-Breasted Chats, and Yellow-Billed Cuckoos are up compared to the last several years. All in all, a beautiful morning and a great hike with folks from Iowa getting 8 life birds!
