Hello Ohio Birders, It's probably already of historical interest only but Friday 1 May at about 7:30 pm I had an Olive-sided Flycatcher at Camp Oty-Okwa, Hocking Co. (near intersection of S.R. 664 and 374 west of Old Man's Cave). The date is extraordinarily early and the habitat (60-year-old ridgetop oak forest) is not where one would expect Olive-sided, but there is was. The bird was not relocated yesterday despite a good number of birders' attending Columbus Audubon's Eco-Weekend. I also had a Willow Flycatcher yesterday at Oty'Okwa along a roadside at 6:30 am. This bird was also moving right along and no additional reports came to my attention. Happy birding, Dave Horn Columbus ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
