I spent today in the company of a group of friends all of which have conservation of habitat and its flora and fauna in common. The area we walked through contains unspoiled forest and wetland and is located on private property in Delaware County. Along with the good variety of birds the area also is home to an extraordinary variety of wild flowers including some very uncommon species of orchids, salamanders and stately large, old trees. The owner of the property has been an extraordinary steward of this land. Species of birds included: Wood Duck Red-shouldered Hawk Wild Turkey Ruby-throated Hummingbird Red-headed Woodpecker Red-bellied Woodpecker Pileated Woodpecker Eastern Wood Pewee Acadian Flycatcher Willow Flycatcher Eastern Phoebe Great Crested Flycatcher White-eyed Vireo Red-eyed Vireo Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Eastern Bluebird Veery Swainson’s Thrush Wood Thrush Gray Catbird Northern Mockingbird Brown Thrasher Yellow Warbler Magnolia Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Black-throated Green Warbler Yellow-throated Warbler Cerulean Warbler Black-and-white Warbler American Redstart Ovenbird Louisiana Waterthrush Common Yellowthroat Canada Warbler Scarlet Tanager Eastern Towhee Indigo Bunting Baltimore Oriole Charlie Bombaci **************An Excellent Credit Score is 750.
