Thanks again to those who assisted with directions yesterday (6-16). I feel compelled to add that the Preserve is labeled on my DeLorme with a bright purple star, so it was a case of not seeing where I was with relation to where I needed to be (distinctly different than being lost). Having been there once before, albeit in winter, this should have been simple. And to top it off, upon departing noticed a very large OH DNR-DNAP roadside sign at the entrance (exit as was the case). Noticeably absent were black flies, or any kind of flies at all for that matter, and mosquitoes were few and far between. The boardwalk is well maintained with built in benches etc. Beware, there is plenty of poison sumac.
