Birders, I have to catch up with bird sightings around the Cleveland area: Sunday, June 7 - A Dark-eyed Junco greeted breakfasters at the Ottawa Point picnic area in Brecksville Reservation - Cleveland Metroparks. It bopped around in the grass then up to a tree and sang. I watched to see if it were carrying nesting material or food, sorry no . at least not at that time. Saturday, June 13 - A hen Wild Turkey with 7 poults, smaller in size than a robin, crossed Old Oak Blvd. from Polaris Career Center area heading to the wooded area south of the Cuyahoga Co. Fairgrounds in Middleburg Hts. Sunday, June 14 - Alder Flycatcher heard, then seen singing at power line cut through, west side of Eastland Rd. just north of Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation - Berea. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
