Took a morning walk (Friday) on the tracks in Niles along the river. Lot's of noise coming from the brush. Along with the beastly noise of a new bridge being constructed. All in all a pleasant walk. Highlight was a lone Chestnut-sided Warbler Yellow-breasted Chats heard calling in two different locations. Indigo Buntings are plentiful here. Belted Kingfisher.. one Eastern Towhee.... one Baltimore Oriole.... one House Wren.... one Rose-breasted Grosbeak male... one Eastern Phoebe... one Turkey Vultures... pair Numerous Catbirds Bonus in the wildlife dept. 1 Red Fox making it's way up the tracks until it spotted me. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
