Yesterday, we drove down to Greenwich for a relative's birthday party. The party was held at the city park/lake. After the pot luck, I walked around the lake. At the first, I saw only Robins, Canada Geese & other common birds. At the upper end of the lake, I saw a Blue Jay. Across the lake from the 'picnic areas' there were 4 good-sized mulberry trees. That's where the birds were. To be sure, lots of robins, but, I did see 2 Cedar Waxwings & under the trees, 2 Dickcissels. A pine tree had Chipping Sparrows in it. V.
