Conducted the monthly census this morning with Pat Hayes. Very warm and quiet on the island. Lots of people! Pied-billed Grebe was a new species for an August census. A total of 114 species have been observed on the August census over 12 years. The 12 year average for species is 63 and for total individuals is 3176.
